Of all the hard drive based iPods, this one is the most difficult to work on. By the time of this release, Apple had gone through four design generations and millions of units shipped. The circuit board is very tight and unlike the 4G, there is very little room to work with. Still, iPodHackers.Net has figured out ways to improve on it!
